TrustShop 4.4: Unlock Sales Insights with Review Performance Dashboard

TrustShop 4.4 introduces the Review Performance Dashboard — a new analytics view that shows how your reviews engage customers, influence purchases, and generate revenue.

Why it matters

It’s been difficult to see whether reviews actually drive sales. The new dashboard tracks the full funnel — from a customer viewing a review widget to placing an order — so you can measure revenue impact and know where to act.

How to access

  1. Open the TrustShop – Reviews app from your Shopify admin.
  2. On the app homepage, locate the 30-Day Performance Snapshot section for a high-level summary.
  3. Click “View detailed insights” to open the full dashboard.

What’s on the dashboard

1. Review Overview

A snapshot of your review program across four panels:

  • Review pipeline — Published, pending, and unpublished reviews; total visual media and verified review counts.
  • Product coverage — Products within the selected date range and how many have at least one review.
  • Email requests — Review request emails sent, scheduled, and collected.
  • Widget activity — Widget types in use and active placements across your store.

2. Sales Impact

Measures how reviews affect your conversion funnel within the selected date range.

  • Impressions — The total number of sessions in which at least one review widget was scrolled into view on your store.
  • Add to cart — Add-to-cart actions taken after viewing a review in the same session.
  • Orders placed — Completed orders containing a product added to cart after a review was viewed.
  • Overall conversion rate — Share of sessions where viewing a review led to a placed order. Formula: (Orders placed ÷ Unique sessions) × 100.
  • Total sales generated — Gross revenue from orders influenced by a review interaction.

3. Smart Recommendations

Personalized, data-driven suggestions based on your store’s current state. Each recommendation identifies a specific gap in your review strategy — such as products with no reviews, widgets not yet placed, or pending reviews awaiting publication — and links directly to the relevant action. Recommendations update automatically as your store data changes.

  • Tracking for these metrics begins on March 26, 2026. Data prior to this date will not be reflected in the dashboard.
  • This dashboard estimates review influence on sales. Metrics may not be fully accurate due to ad blockers, browser privacy settings, or cookie restrictions.

Other Improvements

  • Bulk verified buyer badge — Select multiple reviews and apply the verified badge in one action from the Manage Reviews screen.
  • Persistent onboarding checklist — Incomplete setup steps are now available as a checklist on the app dashboard, accessible at any time.
